If you keep telling your son something's wrong with him, sooner or later he'll believe it. Follow every, "That's wrong" by saying what's right.

And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge....Romans 15:14

While a man was vacationing in the Bahamas, he was sightseeing one afternoon when he noticed a crowd gathered at the end of a pier. He went closer to investigate the commotion and discovered that a young man was making last- minute preparations for a solo journey around the world in a homemade boat. Without exception, everyone on the pier was trying to talk him out of his voyage, telling him everything they thought could go wrong with the trip:

"The sun will broil you!"

"You don't have enough food."

"That boat won't make it through a storm."

"You'll never make it."

In spite of all these dire warnings, the optimistic and ambitious young sailor pushed away from the dock. As he sailed away, the observer ran to the end of the pier and with both arms waving wildly, he shouted: "BON VOYAGE! You're really something! We're with you. We're proud of you! Hurry back!"

After the sailboat was out of earshot, he turned and found the crowd staring at him in disbelief. "Do you really believe that ?" one man asked. The tourist replied, "I don't know. But if he gets in trouble, I hope he remembers my words, not yours.

Say to your child, "Go for it!" And then pray they make it.

*Quote*
Either God's word keeps you from sin, or sin keeps you from God's word.

Keep constant guard over your hearts and minds as they rest in Christ Jesus.
Worries carry responsibilities that belong to God, not to you.
Worry does not enable us to escape evil: it makes us unfit to cope with it when it comes.
You may see all the reasons for failure, but God sees all the reasons for success!

Will your anchor hold in the storms of life,
When the clouds unfold their wings of strife?
When the strong tides lift and the cables strain,
Will your anchor drift or firm remain?

We have an anchor that keeps the soul
Steadfast and sure while the billows roll,
Fastened to the rock which cannot move,
Grounded firm and deep in the Savior's love.

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7

Thank you, Lord Jesus, that with you as our anchor, we need never fear.

God Bless You all this day....as worry and fear is left at the cross.....and is replaced by His peace....that passes our understanding...

Jesus said, "In me, ye might have peace" <John 16:33> So simple, yet so ignored....He is our Prince of Peace....Rest in Him...and watch the worry dissipate. Magnify the Lord, and not the worry. I love you all...

In Christ!!
