When Frank arrived at the Pearly Gates, he very quickly found himself standing face to face with an impressive angelic being holding a clipboard. The angel told Frank he needed to get some "entry data"--name, address, a few other particulars. As part of the form completion, the angel said, "Frank, it would help if you could identify one experience from your life on earth in which you did a purely unselfish, kind deed."

Frank thought for a few seconds and then said, "Well, I think I have something that qualifies. One day as I was walking, I came upon a little old lady who was being beaten mercilessly by a rough motorcycle gang member. He was smacking her around so I stepped right up and pushed over his motorcycle--but only to distract him. Then I kicked him real hard in the shins and shouted for the old lady to run for help. Then I hauled off and put my fist right into the guy's stomach. I think the old lady made it to safety." "Wow," the angel replied, "that is very impressive." Then, with pen poised on his clipboard, he asked, "When did this happen?" Frank looked at his watch and replied, "Oh, two or three minutes ago."

Make today a perfect day by doing something for someone who can never repay you!

God has sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts. Do we realize that as Christians we have within us the selfsame Holy Spirit that was in the Lord Jesus when He was here on earth? The Spirit that enabled Him will enable us.

Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, which you have from God? You are not your own. 1 Corinthians 6:19

Lord, I am longing to be filled and to remain filled with the Holy Spirit. Show me if there is any compromise within me, a "yes, but" or a fear. Forgive and cleanse me, Lord.

Good Morning Brethren!
I pray that your day begins and ends with a manifestation of God's Presence in your lives. If you are walking through discouragement...I speak encouragement over your life...I pray that you will continue to grow in the Lord Jesus Christ.....and your mistakes and failures will be seen as "stepping stones" for continual growth...and not "stumbling blocks." Peace...Be still....as we know...that He is God.
