When we love something, it is of value to us, and when something is of value to us we spend time with it, time enjoying it and time taking care of it.....

Hi Brethren!

Made it safely back home Monday night..and the first thing I want to do is thank you for your prayers!!! hehe I'll never tell! Let's just say cheap lipstick is hard to clean up. And if you don't believe me, you can ask the airport janitor. <smile>

Here is another rerun for some of you..and fresh manna for others. I picked this one out because the importance of this issue is one I NEVER want to forget. Be blessed..!!

And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you....2 Corinthians 12:15

Imagine for a moment that your bank account suddenly announced this as its new policy:
Every morning your account is going to be credited with $86,400. You can carry no balance from day to day. Every evening, your account will be cancelled and whatever amount of your account you have failed to use during the day will be returned to the bank. What would you do? Why, you'd draw out every cent of the $86,400 each day, and spend it, save it, or invest it as wisely as possible. Before long, you could be a very wealthy person indeed! Actually, you have a bank account with a similar policy. It is called "Time." Every morning, you are given the prospect of 86,400 seconds. At the close of that twenty-four hour period, the moments you have failed to withdraw and invest to good purpose are ruled off your ledger. Time carries no balance from day to day. It allows no overdrafts. Each day, a new account is opened to you. If you fail to withdraw and use the day's deposit, the loss is yours. Those who truly love life use time to the maximum. They make their days count rather than counting their days.

May I give you something to do for the new year? Go alone before the Lord, and together with Him, examine yourself. Do you know that you are forgiven? Have you forgiven others? When you do that, God will give you a victorious new year.

(You) have put on the new nature, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator. Colossians 3:10

Lord Jesus, at the start of this new year, we ask for a fresh beginning. Wipe our sins away with Your precious blood. Cleanse our hearts of bitterness toward others. Help us to live each new day in close communion with You, our true and faithful guide.

THIS MOMENT

I may never see tomorrow: there's no written guarantee,
And things that happened yesterday belong to history,
I cannot predict the future, I cannot change the past,
I have just the present moments, I must treat it as my last,

I must use this moment wisely for it soon will pass away,
and be lost forever as part of yesterday,
I must exercise compassion, help the fallen to their feet,
Be a friend unto the friendless, make an empty life complete,

The unkind things I do today may never be undone,
And friendships that I fail to win may nevermore be won,
I may not have another chance on bended knees to pray,
And I thank God with a humble heart for giving me this Day.

Me again!!

God has blessed me with the privilege of sprinkling a little "manna" here and there....and that to me, is the most awesome privilege in the world! It humbles me greatly. I pray that what is sown in your hearts will produce a thousandfold crop!

That reminds me of something that happened a few years back. My darling husband decided to plant a garden. We only had a small space in the backyard....and he planted peas, corn, cucumbers, and tomatoes... Well, you would not believe the huge crop that tiny garden produced! It was amazing! We had corn coming out of our ears! <sigh, there she goes with the puns again!>

Anyway, we made a grave mistake. I put a lot of that stuff in the fridge. I had so many cucumbers, I almost had to stuff them in the vegetable bin with my foot and a plunger! I guess I was hoping we could snort it all up before it went bad. But, alas....most of it did go bad.

And the Lord revealed to my heart, that I should have "shared" our blessing. I should have shared the fruit of what was sown....but I didn't, and it went stale.

See where I am going? I had the opportunity to "bless" others with what I was blessed with....as we do every day. When we go visit the Throne Room of God on a daily basis....we come out with an "armload of peace and blessings" ...because God has sown something in our hearts that day. The KEY is....to pass it on! The above story refers to "Time"...and what we are doing with it. If we are hoarding it to ourselves...and not getting our priorities straight, then, we have missed out on the biggest blessings of them all.....!!

By the way...I realize some thrifty minds out there are thinking...."Well, Carol...you could have canned that stuff.." That's true....I could have at least done that. And STILL I could have shared!

Brethren....what has been "canned" in your life, and you still have it there...sitting on the shelf? Go.......impart the blessings and fruit of your garden while there is still time.....(and you may want to clean out da fridge. Those cukes are starting to smell a little ripe....hehe)

Luke 6:38
Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

I love you all!!

In Christ!!
