T
he time we spend with the Lord in our spiritual gardens is not a time of supplication, nor is it a period of intercession... and no, it isn’t exactly a season of praise in the normal sense. either...

The Garden Time is when we quietly enjoy fellowship with our Master, our Friend, our Redeemer... Just basking in His glorious presence. It is an interlude of great peace, pervading serenity and joy... all wrapped up in His unspeakable love.

As we stand on a high and beflowered ledge, two outcroppings of a a huge white boulder are seen nearby. This represents Christ, the Rock of our salvation and the fact that we have only seen a tiny portion of His greatness... and that we aft see Him as a dichotomy, failing to realize both views are true.

To the right we see a sheer and rocky cliff representing our Call... such a precipice we cannot climb alone. Flowing from it is a gush of Living Water and the Source of that rare elixir will enable us to manage the upward journey.

In the distance beyond the peaceful lake is the mountain of God whose three peaks shine with the holy light of the Trinity. That precious mount is the fountainhead of the great river of Life flowing to feed the lake.

High above we see the dove in flight representing the Holy Spirit. This is the most detailed aspect of the painting because He is oft the most clearly seen of the Godhead.

It is He who points to Christ Jesus and God the Father. He is our Teacher, our Comforter, our Guide. Yet He draws not attention to Himself.

Your Garden is the most panoramic I’ve yet been given and painting it has brought me much joy.

I pray you will enjoy your garden and be blessed by it as much as you have been a lovely blessing to me.
