![]() As in all my art, each component has a spiritual meaning. Here, the barn stands for storehouses of blessings God has for each of us if we will but receive them. It also reminds us that the Lord, our Good Shepherd is our shelter, our refuge. The calves are at peace and completely unconcerned about any possible danger. They trust their Master who feeds them and supplies all they truly need... as the Lord does even more so for us. The path is narrow and paved with stones reminding us that narrow is the way... leading to the throne of God and often paved with hardship and sorrow... but we travel not that path alone, which leads unto the endless tomorrows of eternity. Along this path to heavens gate, flowers thrive in wild profusion... white for purity, red for the blood of Christ, purple for His royalty... all ablend to help us see that beauty here abounds, and splendors here unfold... Just a foretaste of that place where streets are paved in purest gold. This garden is no formal place... no, instead it is a scene of pastoral beauty. Not where petitioning prayer nor Spiritual Warfare occur, but rather the quite communion of man with God. There is a garden of peace and love placed within each believer by the Holy Spirit. This is how I see your garden. Thanks so much for sharing it with me. I love you, Uncle Max! |
