![]() The time we spend with the Lord in our spiritual gardens is not a time of supplication, nor is it a period of intercession... and no, it isn’t exactly a season of praise in the normal sense, either... The Garden Time is when we quietly enjoy fellowship with our Master, our Friend, our Redeemer... Just basking in His glorious presence. It is an interlude of great peace, pervading serenity and joy... all wrapped up in His unspeakable love. Gazing o’er the the crystal brine from the stone paved balcony of your earthly walk, you ponder freedom as the fruit of that miraculous union... The salt of the earth is wed to the Living Water and so is birthed in the Spirit a newness of life, an exuberance, a joyful song of eternal freedom and growth. You are at home in this place for you have stepped beyond the concrete into the mysterious deeps of the Spirit wherein true growth and freedom thrive. Just as God has caused the earth’s largest living thing, the blue whale, to grow to such great proportions it cannot sustain life outside the supporting buoyancy of the sea, you now grow and keep on growing... having made that leap of faith and ventured to stroll the waves hand-in-hand with the beloved Son of Man. As the magnificent whale, with the leading of the Spirit soars high and far beyond the limits of “possibility,” so you have answered a higher call and ascribe to a more lofty mission... all at His bidding... being fed morsel by tiny morsel and led one step at a time. As the great fish must strain out krill from tons of intake, so you must discern the holy from the profane... and He ever shows the Way. I pray this Spirit Garden blesses you as you have so blessed and enriched my life and walk with the Lord. I am honored to call you Pastor and Friend. |
