He Lives! Happy Easter

Yes, Jesus is alive today! He's here for you and me right now, right where we are. In sin, in pain, in our unworthy condition. He loves us as we are.

In fact He loves us so much He would rather die than live without us! Which, of course, is exactly what He did. He died that we might have life, and more than life… JOY.

Do you share His Easter joy? Or are you still holding back? Putting off this life-or-death decision? Why miss out on His love, His joy and the priceless gifts He freely offers?

You're not sure about Him? You have doubts? You don't really understand this whole "salvation" bit too well?

That's okay! Jesus knows all that just as He knows and loves you through and through. Faith is a growing, developing thing. You take one faltering step at a time, but you don't take it alone. He's right there holding your hand!

It's all so very simple, you know. My own "salvation prayer" went something like this:

Dear, Jesus, or God or whatever You want to be called:

Are there one or three of You? I'm not even sure You are real!

But I need You. I know I am a sinner! I want to do right but on my own, I always fail. I come to ask forgiveness and accept Your gift to me from the cross. Please forgive my sins and lack of faith. Please give me a new heart and help me live Your way. And please help me know You. I really need a friend like You.

In Your name, Amen
